Leveling Guide

Characters can gain experience through battles, dispatches, and consuming clock tomes.

EXP Rate

After battling enemies of different levels, the experience gained is multiplied by a certain rate based on the level difference. There's a severe experience penalty when the character's level is higher than the enemy's. The values are as follows:

Level Up

Characters don't level up immediately when their experience reaches the level cap, but continue to accumulate experience. They only level up to the corresponding level after resting at Inn. If you have sufficient combat power and want to level up more efficiently, you can avoid staying at inns (by swapping out characters or camping in the wild) to cap your level and gain higher experience rewards. Experience can accumulate beyond the next level or even the next grade cap, but cannot exceed the level 60 cap (current maximum level).
